Samsung is hoping to up its global smartphone market share this year from 5% to 10%.  Lee Donjoo, senior vice president of the company's mobile communications division, told Bloomberg this week that Samsung is banking on the success of its Galaxy S smartphone. In a recent announcement on Twitter, Sprint has said that it expects to launch Android 2.2 Sprint expects to launch Android 2.2 "in the near future."
